My Bloody Valentine

—Drive It All Over Me (Remastered Version)

My Bloody Valentine - Drive It All Over Me

Well, the EP collection remasters leaked. As with most remasters, the low end is a bit punchier. The vocals seem a bit crisper as well. Not a significant difference, but I do hope these come out on vinyl soon because I don’t own any of the EPs.

Owning You Made Me Realise on vinyl for less than 50 bucks would be nice.

Mastodon - “A Spoonful Weighs a Ton”

Wow.

So this happened… A couple dropped him off at Amanda’s animal hospital and since they were breaking up, they “no longer wanted him”. He is 1 years old and one of the sweetest most cuddly pups I have ever met. I guess Olive could use a friend. The previous assholes called him “Boy”, which is stupid. Any name suggestion for the newest member of the fam?

The new pup.

Allo Darlin’ - “Wonderland”

I’m really surprised I’m not seeing more Allo Darlin’ posts on my dashboard.

I’m against violence..

but who do you think would win in a no rules fist fight 20 years ago: Lux interior Vs. Iggy Pop?

I would put all of my money on Lux, but I would probably lose big time.

“Chew” by Yuck // Chew (Single) (2012)

And just like they were never gone, Yuck is back a year later with a new single and I couldn’t be happier. “Chew” continues their focus on breathing new life into guitar based rock and roll, but this time around it could be argued that they found their way to the shoegaze bin when seeking out inspiration. “Chew” sounds like a great lost Pavement and My Bloody Valentine collaboration that only exists in my mind. To be quite honest, I absolutely adore everything about this song. Highest recommendation.
